Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Member") and Jums World Private Limited ("Jums World", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at 4th Floor, Prestige Tower, Anna Salai, Chennai – 600 002, Tamil Nadu, India.

By registering for, accessing, or using the Jums World website (jumsworld.com), mobile application, or any related services (collectively the "Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

To register and use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a resident of India and possess a valid Indian mobile number
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under Indian law
• Possess a valid PAN card (required for commission payouts above ₹50,000/year)
• Not be previously banned or suspended from the Jums World Platform
• Not be acting on behalf of a competitor platform without our written consent

By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to verify your eligibility at any time.

3.1 Registration

You may register using a valid email address or Indian mobile number. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated. Creating multiple accounts for the same individual is prohibited.

3.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must immediately notify us at info.jumsworld@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account due to your failure to keep credentials secure.

3.3 KYC Verification

To withdraw earnings, you must complete our Know Your Customer (KYC) process by submitting a valid PAN card and bank account / UPI details. Failure to complete KYC within 90 days of first earning a commission may result in your wallet balance being held until verification is complete.

Subject to these Terms, Jums World grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes — specifically to browse products, generate referral links, and earn commissions.

4.1 Permitted Uses

• Browse, share, and promote listed products using your unique referral links
• Earn commissions on qualifying purchases made through your referral links
• Manage your wallet, track earnings, and withdraw funds to your registered bank / UPI
• Access your account dashboard, transaction history, and performance analytics

4.2 Acceptable Sharing Channels

5.1 How It Works

Each registered member receives a unique referral link per product. When a buyer clicks your link and completes a purchase within the cookie window (30 days), the sale is attributed to your account and a commission is credited to your Jums Wallet.

5.2 Attribution Rules

• Last-click attribution: If a buyer clicks multiple referral links, the commission goes to the last clicked link before purchase.
• Cookie window: 30 days from the initial click. Purchases after 30 days without a new click do not earn commission.
• Returned orders: Commissions for returned or cancelled orders will be reversed from your wallet.
• Self-referrals: Purchasing through your own referral link is strictly prohibited and will result in commission forfeiture and account review.

5.3 Multi-Level Referral Bonus

Where applicable, you may earn a bonus commission when members you directly referred (Level 1) generate sales. Bonus rates are published on the Platform and may be updated at our discretion with 7 days' notice.

6.1 Commission Rates

Commission rates vary by product category and are displayed on each product listing. Jums World reserves the right to change commission rates with 7 days' notice via email or in-app notification. Rates at the time of click govern the commission for that transaction.

6.2 Payout Processing

• Commissions are credited to your Jums Wallet within 24–48 hours of a confirmed sale
• Earnings appear as "Pending" until the order's return window closes (7–10 days)
• Once "Confirmed", you may withdraw any amount to your registered UPI ID or bank account
• UPI transfers are processed instantly; bank transfers within 1–2 business days
• There is no minimum withdrawal amount

6.3 Tax Deduction at Source (TDS)

Jums World deducts TDS at 1% under Section 194-O of the Income Tax Act, 1961 on annual earnings exceeding ₹50,000. TDS is deducted at the time of each withdrawal. A TDS certificate (Form 16A) will be made available in your dashboard at the end of each financial quarter. You can claim the deducted TDS against your income tax liability when filing your ITR.

6.4 Commission Disputes

Disputes regarding missing or incorrect commissions must be raised within 7 days of the relevant sale via your dashboard (Wallet → Disputes → New Dispute). Include the order number and buyer's approximate purchase date. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.

7.1 Product Listings

Jums World acts as a marketplace intermediary. Products are sold by verified third-party sellers. While we vet all sellers and products before listing, we do not manufacture, own, or warehouse the products. Product descriptions, images, and prices are provided by sellers and may be updated without notice.

7.2 Pricing & Availability

Prices are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹). Product availability is subject to seller stock. If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, a full refund will be issued within 3 business days.

7.3 Returns & Refunds

Refunds are processed to the original payment method. Commission on a returned order will be reversed from the referrer's wallet.

The following actions are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of all pending commissions, and potential legal action:

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to the Jums World name, logo, brand colours, website design, product images supplied by us, software, and text — is the exclusive intellectual property of Jums World Private Limited or its licensors and is protected under Indian copyright, trademark, and design laws.

You are granted a limited licence to share product images and descriptions solely for the purpose of promoting Jums World products through your referral links. You must not:

• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notice
• Use the Jums World brand in a way that implies endorsement of a third-party product or service
• Reproduce, republish, or redistribute Platform content for commercial purposes outside the referral programme
• Create derivative works, reverse-engineer, or decompile any part of our software

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Jums World does not warrant that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components
• Results obtained from using the Platform will be accurate or reliable
• Defects in the Platform will be corrected
• Earnings from the referral programme will meet any particular level or be continuous

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jums World and its directors, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from unauthorised access to or alteration of your account
• Losses resulting from third-party seller product defects, delivery failures, or disputes
• Service interruptions due to maintenance, cyberattacks, or force majeure events

In any event, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising under or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the total commissions paid to your account in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12.1 By You

You may close your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Any confirmed wallet balance will be paid out to your registered bank or UPI before closure. Pending commissions will be paid once confirmed (after the return window), or forfeited if the orders are returned.

12.2 By Jums World

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if:

• You breach any provision of these Terms
• We detect fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious activity on your account
• You fail to complete KYC within the required timeframe
• Required by law or a government directive
• Your account has been inactive for more than 24 consecutive months

Upon termination for cause (e.g. fraud), all pending and confirmed commissions may be forfeited. We will provide written notice of the reason unless prohibited by law.

13.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at legal@jumsworld.com and allow us 30 days to resolve the dispute informally.

13.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

13.3 Jurisdiction

Subject to the arbitration clause below, the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

13.4 Arbitration

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be finally settled by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by both parties, seated in Chennai, and conducted in English. The arbitral award shall be final and binding.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 7 days' notice via in-app notification and/or email before the new terms take effect. Non-material changes (e.g. correcting typos, clarifying existing provisions) may be made without prior notice.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the Terms were most recently revised. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may close your account. Any earned, confirmed commissions will be paid out regardless.
